Nashville SC finished its inaugural season with a first round USL Cup playoff loss to FC Cincinnati. The game was a microcosm of the season in a lot of ways. Seeing the score 0-0 after 90 minutes wasn’t surprising as The Boys in Gold struggled for goals all season. Nashville fell behind 1-0 just five minutes into extra time. It was tremendously exciting when Bradley Bourgeois tied the match in the 114′ in addition to being well deserved. NSC were the better side for long periods of the match. Penalty kicks are always a coin flip and Nashville lost on this day. All 10 kicks being made in the first 5 rounds before Justin Davis failed to put his shot on frame in sixth round. A tremendous game to watch at Bavarian Bierhaus where we were with about 100 other Nashville SC fans. It was a great first year as momentum builds towards MLS in 2020. We are planning more of the same in 2019. Membership details for next season will be out early in 2019. Thanks to everyone that helped give birth to Music City Supporters.
