Nashville SC June 26 match versus New York Red Bulls 2 was postponed at halftime. The match had a 3 hour lightning delay before kicking off just after 10:00. The club showed the Vanderbilt baseball national championship game and then the USMNT on the scoreboard during the wait. You can see Jordan Morris in the photo. Nashville quickly gave a up a goal, but Lebo Moloto and Cam Lancaster answered giving NSC a 2-1 lead at half. Unfortunately, rain and more lightning arrived at half and the match was postponed. Per USL rules, the rematch will be a full 90 minutes canceling the first half that was already played. Too bad Moloto and Lancaster lost their goals, but think of it as more soccer. Last nights action was free. No date for the make up match yet. NSC hits the road for 3 matches before retuning home July 27 to face Indy Eleven. That game will be at Nissan Stadium.
