Nashville SC is now 3-1-1 on the season after a 2-0 win over Memphis on a weather threatening night in the Music City. With thunderstorms in the area the game was delayed twice. First Tennessee Park did display the Nashville Predators playoff game on the guitar scoreboard. There was a big cheer for the OT winner. Matt LaGrassa got the opening goal and Ropapa Mensah added a second off a corner. Daniel Rios flicked a header across the goal and while Mensah’s header was blocked it came right back to his foot for an easy tap in. See the goal here. Mensah earned USL team of week honors for a goal and assist off the bench. Nashville SC is away the next three matches and returns home Wednesday May 8 to face Tampa Bay at 7:00. There are also home games on the following Saturday May 11 and May 18. We will have a table selling memberships inside First Tennessee Park at those matches.
